About the event
Song of the Nightingale
The nightingale is one of the country’s best loved birds, thanks to its rare and evocative song. For this very special celebration, we welcome award- winning dancer Marie-Louise Flexen, who will perform a striking piece about the nightingale; we will show Sam Lee’s acclaimed film Singing with Nightingales; and we will be joined by county birding expert Gordon Kirk of the British Trust for Ornithology for a chat and Q&A.
