Local Food Surplus for Donations

Making Healthy Local Food Accessible To All!

In our efforts to reduce food waste, and make good quality food available to all, each Saturday we are collecting surplus/unsold food from the Stroud Farmers’ Market at the end of trading.

The collected produce is available alongside our Long Table Freezer of Love meals in the porch of our Trinity Rooms Hub, open 9-11am Mon-Fri. It will also be available at other local food hubs. As with the Freezers of Love all food is available on a pay-what-you-can donation basis.

We have also set up a donations box for Farmers’ Market foods at the 4 Seasons Market shop in Threadneedle Street, so people can pay forward healthy fresh produce for those who may struggle to afford great local food.

We are grateful for the support of Stroud Farmers’ Market organisers and stallholders. A big thank you for all food donated by stallholders and customers. We really appreciate your generosity.
